Rating
A rating specific operating limit of a motor. For example, there are rating for the output, voltage, current, frequency, torque, speed etc.Of a motor. For the control of temperature, there are continuous rating and short-time rating.
Continuous Rating & Short-time Rating
Continuous rating means motor can run at a rated output continuously, and short-time rating means motor can run a rated output only within the time specified.
Output
Output is the power can generate within a given time and is determined by the speed and torque of the motor. It can be calculated by the following formula:
Output(Kw)=(T×N)/97400
T:Torque(Kgcm )
N:Speed(rpm)
1HP:0.746Kw
Starting torque
The amount of turning force generated by a motor as it begins to turn from standstill. When the load exceeds the starting torque, the motor would mot start.
